as it is my last day as dogwood gallery's summer intern i thought i would show some of my personal favorites from the gallery. I'm intrigued by the mysterious and abstract compositions of jane whitehurst, scott silcox, and allison j. smith, and admire their ability to be so loose with their application of paint.

alas, i digress, and pass the torch on to the new intern who will be filling my postion as i return for one more year of college.

artist and friend billy lee is quite the character, and it's clear that his jovial energy radiates through his finger tips and into his hand built ceramic works of art. several of billy's pieces of sculpture and pottery can be found on display in the gallery.

watercolor workshop w/ troy crisswell

i am pleased to announce that our watercolor workshop led by artist troy crisswell was a great success. everyone involved had a lot of fun and beautiful art was made. thanks again to all who participated.
