Big River

I love music by Johnny Cash. Above is " Big River " by Greg Blair. mixed media on archival foamboard ( 36" x 26" ) click the image for a close-up. I hid some lyrics:" I taught the weeping willow how to cry & I showed the clouds how to cover up a clear blue sky & the tears that I cried for that woman are gonna flood you Big River & I'm gonna sit right here until I die. Susan Gibbs

Untitled
sculpted clay
20" tall

Local artist Susan Gibbs creates an interesting body with glaze dripped over the shoulders and torso of this figurative work. But what really brings this piece up to another level is the copper wire sprouting in curls from the head. What would you call this untitled piece??
