Bob Francisco

The Orchard
oil on canvas

For artist Bob Francisco, the American Mountain Southland serves as the primary source of inspiration. He uses a layering process that allows him to depict intricate color and detail. His reverence for the land is evident in this process and in the way he portrays his subject. Click on the image for a closer look.

Allison J. Smith

American Beauty

Atlanta artist, Allison J. Smith, has been inspired by her time in the South. She expresses emotional states through her abstract landscapes. American Beauty is a fine example of her "focus on color and subtle texture" that brings indoors the "calm contemplation experienced in nature".
