The paintings above arrived to Dogwood Gallery today from our friend & artist, Troy Crisswell.
Each is watercolor on heavy paper, about 24" x 18" & as yet unframed. Troy's paintings consistently intrigue me. Realistic illustrations surrounded by abstract washes & given the illusion of movement with sound brushstroke. ( the flipping of the newspaper or the bike's shadow movement on the floor as time passes ) please click the images for a closer look.
