all of us here at dogwood gallery were deeply saddened tolearn of the passing of a dear friend and talented artist, Scott Silcox. His legacy will live on not only in his paintings but also in our hearts.
Man, greg. you told me he was ill, i guess we never saw this coming. scott was a great guy, there for every show and always a smiling face in a crowd. i enjoyed our many conversations in the gallery, usually centered around the food table! he was a great guy and a talented artist.
dogwood gallery & framer is a contemporary art space consisting of a ever changing mix of works by local & national artists. we hope this fine collection provokes & inspires the viewers. all works are for sale @ dogwood gallery & framer. contact information can be found on our website @ www.dogwoodgallery.net

ReplyDeleteScott was simply one of the nicest people to ever walk through the door here.
ReplyDeleteI just saw this and wanted to say that Scott was always a bright spot at any gathering. He will be missed. It is wonderful that his art will live on.
